Was in a super hurry, and had to cook something in no time. Dum Aloo was requested by hubby. Running out of onions, tomatoes and Coriander leaves. Oh God, how to manage. This is what i came up with. Yeppiii it was tangy n tasty.
Preparation time 10 mins
Cooking time 5 mins
Ingredients:
300gm Baby potatoes (boiled and peeled),
4-5 Garlic cloves,
2 green chillies,
2 tbsp tomato ketchup,
2 tbsp grated paneer,
1 tsp jeera powder,
1 tsp garam masala powder,
1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
1 tsp sugar,
Mustard oil,
Salt.
Process:
Heat oil and fry the boiled potatoes with little salt and turmeric powder. For 1 min.
Keep aside.
In same oil add chopped garlic n green chillies. Frying half a minute.
Add jeera powder and tomato ketchup. Mix well.
Add fried potatoes. Coat them with masalas. Add 1 cup water for gravy.
As the gravy thickens add grated paneer.
Lasty add garam masala powder and sugar.
Enjoy with fulkas or parathas.
